Vizla’s Betrayal

During this time Darth met Vizla who promised to take care of his lightsaber while Maul recovered from the fight with his brother. However, Vizla deceived Darth Maul and imprisoned him. Darth Sidious Duel

Darth Sidious lightsaber remained a constant companion. Now he had Vizla’s Dark saber with him as well. He used the lightsabers in a duel against his master, Darth Sidious. However, he was defeated, and both weapons were taken from him. His own lightsaber was damaged in the process.

Maul later recovered the lightsaber and created a new blade, replacing the damaged end. This was the second time he had lost his lightsaber and repaired it with a newer blade. Yet, the lightsaber was forever lost in a strong and heady duel against Ashoka Tano. She did not spare the lightsaber the mercy she did with Darth Maul.

Darth Maul Decline

In ‘Star Wars Rebels’ Darth Maul's lightsaber journey comes to an end. Here he was overcome by range for his former master and all the betrayals he had faced in the past. Darth Maul made two significant appearances with his lightsaber. Once he tried to compel Ezra Bridger, a follower of the light side of the Force, to join him. However, Ezra refused him and remained loyal.
